A Day in the Life of Steve SullivanApril 9, 2009
Although we still sometimes refer to him as "the new guy," Steve Sullivan learned the ropes quickly and has settled right in here at Hammock Inc. I caught up with him for a few minutes to get the scoop on what a normal day looks like for him here at the office. What is the first thing you do when you get into the office each morning? Do you doodle while on the phone or in meetings? If so, what do you doodle? What's your favorite non-electric tool that you use for work? How do you divide your time each day between projects? Which meal fuels you better for the day: breakfast or lunch? Good thing we've got a closet chock-full of cokes to keep Steve going, then! About SteveJanuary 19, 2009
The newest member of the Hammock Inc. team, Steve Sullivan, is on board to lead our business development efforts and spread the word about why our clients love doing business with us. Steve has 23 years of sales, marketing and general management experience, primarily helping small businesses grow. His background is diverse—ranging from technology, financial services, food service, to even (his favorite) the beef industry. This entrepreneurial spirit lead him to Hammock. A native Nashvillian, he is steeped in the local southern culture. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a focus in advertising and business back in the days of Herschel Walker. When not at the office, Steve is a busy father of two children, Jeannie (14) and Stephen (12), husband to Debbie (one of the funniest people I know"). He spends time coaching too many sports, while trying to find time to play a few on the side (an orthopedist's dream). An avid sports fan, he mainly follows the Titans and the Dawgs. He is actively involved in the community and has served on the board of Nashville Safe Haven Family Shelter, Brentwood Academy Alumni and as session member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. |
