Patrick is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Asheville with a degree in Physics. Prior to working at Hammock Inc., he was a technical instructor for the Physics department at M.I.T in Cambridge, Mass. He cut his professional teeth with Internet-related technology working for a small start-up in Asheville back in 2000. He's able to get one or two more hours of sleep a week these days than at the startup, but Hammock Inc. still manages to keep him pretty busy.

In his spare time away from work, he works and sneaks in the occasional sci-fi novel. Oh, and he also builds furniture and spends time with his children and wife. Having grown up in Middle Tennessee, he's happy to be living in the area again. He does miss those Red Sox games, though.
