Our director of digital media, Laura Creekmore, has worked here so long that, frankly, she doesn't remember most of what she did before she came to Hammock. Though she does recall fondly her first job: Rolling the change from the Coke machines at her dad's grocery store in West Tennessee.
All that small-business experience comes in handy, since Laura oversees our work on NFIB.com, the website for the National Federation of Independent Business, the nation's leading lobbying group for small-business owners.
She has been involved on various levels on most of Hammock’s major projects over the years, including fields such as trucking, American history, small business and health care.
Between NFIB.com and Hammock's internal web projects, Laura also makes time to blog and administer her neighborhood's active listserv. She spends the rest of her free time as the family chauffeur, running from Brownie meetings to toddler play dates to volunteer commitments she has with the Junior League of Nashville, East Nashville Cooperative Ministry and her church.
