Team Hammock

Many of us at Hammock have made the resolution to run the Music City Half-Marathon in April.

Although I ran many half marathons years ago with a personal best of 98 minutes, I'm following a training plan for a first time half-marathoner. Foot and knee problems forced me to stop running almost fifteen years ago. In fact, an orthopaedic surgeon told me in 2000 never to run again. But, after 3 1/2 years working out with a personal trainer to strengthen the knees and all my core muscles, I'm running three days a week to prepare for the 13.1 run.

I don't expect to set a personal best, but I will finish.
