
We use so many social media tools on a daily basis, but for some reason today I was reminded of a post that Rex wrote recently about just how long we've been in the social media business, and how it's so much more than that.
Although each of the points that he highlights in his post are valuable, I think the statement that had the most impact on me was this one:
To me, whatever media -- magazines, online, video, audio -- that help communities build around shared passions is the business we're in. Building stronger, longer, more mutually-beneficial relationships is what we do.
Building relationships around shared passions. It's a tough job as they say, but somebody's gotta do it!
