Planning Our ASAE Conference Schedule

hammocklab.jpg
I'm a planner, an organized routine-loving calendar-toting planner. So with just a couple of weeks to go until we land in Toronto for the Annual Meeting and Expo for ASAE & the Center for Association Leadership, I figure it's time to start working on my schedule while I'm there.

Some general sessions, receptions and meals will be the same for everyone, but the area where I can have the most fun with my schedule is in the lineup of "Learning Labs" that are on tap for the conference. The Learning Labs are basically breakout sessions that are sure to be full of great content, conversation and inspiration.

When I'm looking at which breakout sessions to attend -- and while looking at the Learning Labs for this one -- I always try to strike a balance between professional development, personal development and outside-my-comfort-zone. I believe a good bit of all three make for the best learning experience, at least for me.

From the use of social media and technology to working with volunteers to motivating your team, there are almost too many labs to chose from. I better grab my calendar and get it figured out!

How are you deciding which labs to attend?
